Kendal∼Crosslands Communities is located on a nearly 500 acre campus in the heart of the Brandywine Valley in Historic Chester County, Pennsylvania. Started in 1973 by the Society of Friends, Kendal has grown and evolved to consist of two Life Plan Communities- Kendal at Longwood and Crosslands and two 50+ neighborhoods - Cartmel and Coniston.
The Communities offer a wide range of living options for vibrant, active retirement living, as well as easy access to nearby Philadelphia and Wilmington DE, with a variety of lifelong learning opportunities, culture and entertainment galore.
